About
Me
"I truly love what I do and I think that reflects back through what I create"
I am a qualified freelance hairstylist and makeup artist based in Auckland, NZ.
Working in all areas of the industry including editorial, campaign, film & TV, weddings and runway events since 2010.
Training at 'Serville's Academy of Hair' in 2000 and working at 'Serville's' for a number of years as a colour technician and senior stylist. I then studied makeup artistry at 'The Makeup School' in 2010 after which I began my freelance hair and makeup career first in Film and TV.
Prior to hair and makeup I studied photography at both Unitec and Whitecliffe College of Art & Design after which I assisted in both studio and on location.
My involvement in fashion and bridal has grown organically with referrals from past brides, photographers, other artists and designers I have worked alongside within the industry.
My work has featured in both New Zealand's leading fashion and bridal magazine's such as 'Fashion Quarterly', 'Black', 'Woman Mag', 'Remix' and Simply You', 'Together Journal' and 'New Zealand Weddings Magazine'. As well as numerous Australian wedding blogs such as 'Hello May' and 'The White Files'.
Bridal campaigns I have been involved in are Lola Varma Bridal, Rue De Seine, Jessica Coutures and Kenny and Harlow Bridal to name a few all of which you can view under 'Weddings'.
A few Fashion brands I have worked with are Mi Piaci, Trelise Cooper, Sophie Store, Bronwyn Footwear, Huffer and Bendon.
